It’s gin lovers’ favourite day of the year.
Today is World Gin Day (Saturday 11 June). And in York, lovers of the spirit are in for a treat – as York Gin are having a 10% off sale on all of their products.
The sale will begin run till the end of Sunday (12 June).
The discount applies to everything in its two shops in York, as well as anything on the company’s website.
World Gin Day has been celebrated since 2009, with events around the world celebrating all things gin.
It was created by Leeds-born London gin blogger Emma Stokes, otherwise known as Gin Monkey.
York Gin co-founder Emma Godivala said: “World Gin Day is the Christmas Day of the gin world. It’s a huge worldwide celebration.
“We wanted to make a splash this year – so we’re giving everyone the chance to enjoy some gin bargains over the whole weekend.”
