Chart topping singer Example is to play York Barbican this autumn.
The songwriter, producer and rapper, who has had two number one singles, is playing the venue on Thursday, October 23, 2014 as part of his 26-date UK tour.
Tickets cost £27.50 and go on sale on Friday, August 22 at 9am.
“I haven’t covered the UK properly for such a long time,” Example said.
“The last two arena tours were superb but we missed some corners of the UK and a lot of people can’t travel hours to see a gig, especially on a week day.
“It’s a marathon tour, even for me but I’ve carefully chosen all the venues myself – some of which I’ve played in loads of time and others which I’ve never been to.”
Example is known for staging impressive live sets.
“Expect all the hits from the last three albums plus all the bangers and singles off album number five a spectacular 90 minute show.”
