An outdoor community art gallery will greet racegoers in York this Saturday (14 August).
More than 100 paintings will be on display and available to purchase at the entrance to the racecourse.
All art has been donated from local artists, both children and adults. Some professional artists have contributed pieces too.
Organised by the South Bank-based SmART team (Small Artistic Revolution Together), funds raised from the art sales will go to the nominated charities – The Trussell Trust, The Island and Home Leone.
There will also be a selection of art and craft stalls in the field by the entrance to the racecourse at the top of Knavesmire Crescent.
The art gallery will run from 11am till 3pm.
