Celebrity city! TV star and top stand-up both drop in on York
Not one but two famous faces have been spotted in York.
First, queen of the jungle and one-time Goggleboxer Scarlett Moffatt dropped into York St John University.
Scarlett studied at the university for four years from 2009.
She was with TV personality, YouTuber and the UK Youth Mental Health Ambassador Dr Alex George.
He said on Instagram: “This month I am going to be all over the country visiting universities, schools and colleges. THE MISSION – bringing mental health to the forefront.
“Thank you so much Scarlett Moffatt for joining me back at your university, speaking so openly and honestly about some of the tough times you have had and some great advice about how to overcome life’s challenges.”
And today, star stand up John Bishop dropped in to a popular York café.
The Liverpudlian comedian enjoyed a vegan breakfast at Partisan on Micklegate.
Owner Florencia Clifford took this photo of her daughter, Sophia, meeting John, and posted it on Facebook.
The stand up is on a warm-up tour, and was due to appear in Middlesbrough tonight.
