Hold on to your crayons – Mister Maker’s coming to town. And he’ll be joined by Alex Winters and Mr Bloom!

If this means nothing to you, clearly you don’t have any toddlers around the house. Because Alex and the two misters are the star of tots TV channel CBeebies.

Mister Maker is a master of all things making and glueing, Mr Bloom is a green fingered gardener and Alex is a presenter.

The playful trio are on their way to the Little Fun Fest on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8 at York Maze.

If your kids have graduated to CBBC, then they’ll have heard of Hacker The Dog. His puppeteer (Hacker’s a puppet? No! Ed) Phil Fletcher will put on his puppet show in the barn.

Also included in the line up are Harry Potter Hagrid lookalike Jem Frazer, New Zealand children’s entertainer Mr Yipadee, Baby Ballet and stilt walking super juggler Danny Collins.

“Mister Maker, Mr Bloom and I are so looking forward to coming to York Maze in September,” Alex Winters said.

“This is going to be a great opportunity for us to get out and have some fun and laughs with children and parents in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside.”

York Maze’s Tom Pearcy said the giant maize maze won’t be open during the festival weekend, but other attractions on the site will, including indoor attraction Kernel Kernel’s House of Cornfusion.

“We will have a Big Top circus tent and show barn so the show can go on whatever the weather,” Tom said. ” Where else could you get creative with Mister Maker, learn about gardening with Mr Bloom, have a story read to you by Alex Winters and train to be a wizard?”

  • Little Fun Fest is at York Maze on September 7 and 8
  • Tickets are £18 per person and must be booked online at the Little Fun Fest website
