Police are investigating after a cat was shot in Pickering.
The ginger and white cat was shot in the eye with an air weapon on Goslipgate between 8.10am on Friday (16 June) and 6.45pm on Saturday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The cat has received medical treatment and the pellet has been removed.

“Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the incident and the people responsible, to contact them.”
