A cat was left wondering what all the fuss was about today after sparking a rescue mission.
The pet was seemingly stuck on the roof of a home on High Street, Northallerton.
When it wouldn’t budge, the fire service was called in to help at 11.43am today (Tuesday).

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson has this full story: “An officer has attended a domestic property after a cat climbed through a window and onto the roof.
“Cat was not responding to owners.
“A crew from Northallerton was requested but on their arrival the cat self rescued and climbed back through the window.”
