A driver allegedly smashed the rear window of a car in a road rage incident in York.
It happened on Carr Lane at the junction with York Road at around 12pm on Monday (27 November).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It is believed there was an initial minor collision between a silver 07-reg VW Golf and a small green van.
Where it happened
“The driver of the van is suspected of smashing the rear window of the Golf before driving off.
“If you witnessed the incident or know how we can trace the driver of the small green van and the van itself, we urge you to get in touch without delay.”
