Three people have been arrested in York after a car was said to have been repeatedly driven into another one, before its driver was attacked
The incident happened around 9.45pm on Saturday (17 April) on Crichton Avenue.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Police were alerted to a silver coloured saloon vehicle which had allegedly been repeatedly driven into a stationary small white car, which was parked near to some shops on Crichton Avenue in York, causing severe damage to the white car.
“The driver of the white car was then assaulted through the driver window, before making off from the area. The the silver car then also left the area.”
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who witnessed the incident to contact them.
They would specifically like to speak to anyone who capture phone, dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident.

A 30-year-old man, a 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, all from York, have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have all since been released on conditional bail.
