A car flipped onto its roof in a crash south of York last night (Tuesday).
As YorkMix reported, the B1222 between Naburn and York was partially blocked by the incident, which happened at about 6.15pm.
Firefighters from York and Acomb went to the single vehicle road traffic collision. They found a Nissan Micra which had come to rest on its roof.
The two people in the car, a man and a woman, were out when crews arrived.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The male driver aged 50 was uninjured.
“The female passenger aged 38 was treated at the scene by the fire service, who administered oxygen therapy, before she was taken to hospital via road ambulance.”
The road has now reopened.
