A driver had to be rescued after a car crashed into a ditch last night (Wednesday).
It happened in the village of Bolton Percy at 6.26pm.
The single vehicle collision saw the car leave the road and ended up on its side in a ditch.

Firefighters from Tadcaster went to the incident.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The driver was unable to self extricate from the vehicle due to its position.
“The crew stabilised the vehicle and used a long board and crew power to lift the occupant out of the vehicle and left them in care of paramedics.”
