Emergency services were called to a crash on the A19 this afternoon (Sunday).
Two cars crashed on the northbound carriageway near Borrowby, north of Thirsk, at about 1pm.
Fire crews from Northallerton and Thirsk went to the scene.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “No persons were trapped, but one of the cars ended in a field.
“Fire crews made both vehicles safe while one male was transported to hospital with neck injuries.”
