Car crashes into building in York

This is the scene in York this morning on a busy York road.

A car has crashed into a prominent building on the corner of Hospital Fields Road and Fulford Road.

The black mini has slammed into the stonework of the block, dislodging several panels.

The front of the car is buckled, a fence has been smashed, and vegetation damaged.

Police are aware of the incident, as the car is covered in tape reading ‘Police Line Do Not Cross’.
