An appeal has gone out to trace the family of a man who died in York last week.
Peter Burns died at his home in Markham Crescent on 24 June. He was 58.
There are no suspicious circumstances around his death.
Despite enquiries, the North Yorkshire coroner has been unable to trace the details of Mr Burns’ next of kin and so is appealing for anyone who may have information which could help find his family to get in touch.
They believe he may have friends or family in the Newcastle area and also connections to Canada.
