A by-election will take place in York on Thursday 28 November.
The election is for the Haxby and Wigginton ward. It has been triggered by the resignation of Liberal Democrat Ed Pearson.
He announced he was stepping down last month due to work commitments, to spend more time with his family and to focus on his health and wellbeing.
Polling hours will be between 7am and 10pm, and with the count taking place at the close of poll.
Here are the candidates standing for election.
