A water leak has left a busy York road partially underwater this morning (Monday).
York Road in Acomb is flooded close to the Bluebird Bakery.
It is covering more than half the road and much of one pavement.

The water is also rushing down Hebden Rise.
Officers from the nearby police station have coned off and signposted the flood.
At the time of publication, traffic can still get through with care.
A Yorkshire Water spokesperson said: “We are aware of a burst water main and water on the road in Acomb.
“Our teams have been on site to investigate, and the repair will be carried out as soon as possible.
“We apologise for the inconvenience, and thank those in the area for their patience whilst we work to resolve the issue.”
