Video: Road in York closed for repairs to a burst water main near the hospital

Wigginton Road is now closed to all but emergency traffic to allow Yorkshire Water to repair a burst main.

Traffic on roads around the hospital, including Clarence Street and Haxby Road, was delayed earlier.

The water is gushing through the tarmac in the middle of Wigginton Road, causing large amounts of standing water in the area.
