Thousands of people toured York over the weekend to see all 30 frozen sculptures in the first city-wide Ice Trail.
Shoes, trains, turtles and judges were all captured in ice. Treats from chocolate to Champagne were frozen inside other crystal clear works of art.
Heavy rain on Saturday didn’t deter the crowds, with traders on St Nicholas Fair reporting brisk sales.
And most of Sunday stayed fine encouraging more people into the city. Many families collecting a free printed trail from the Visit York offices and set about ticking off all the artworks.
