A steady stream of people have been making their way to York’s polling stations to make a monumental decision for Britain today (June 23).
As the sun came out this morning so too did voters, creating high spirits among polling station tellers who were happy to see the good early turnout.
Polling day brings to an end a long and vigorously fought campaign, which has seen activists from both sides campaign on York’s streets.

Polling stations remain open until 10pm tonight. Find out where to vote here.
