Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy after an assault on a York street.
The incident happened on Jute Road in Acomb at around 3.30pm last Tuesday (23 November).
It was reported that a large group of youths were following two men and a boy before one of the men was assaulted.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident and later released under investigation.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We would specifically like to speak to anyone who witnessed any part of the assault or has any footage of the incident.”
