The body of a man has been discovered in woodland near York.
Police investigating the disappearance of Andrew Brook from his home in Halifax made the discovery at about 5.30am today (Tuesday).
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Formal identity is yet to be completed, but Andrew’s family have been informed.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
Mr Brook, 52, was last seen in Shelf, Halifax, at 11pm on 17 July.
North Yorkshire Police shared the appeal to find Mr Brook last week as it was thought he might have travelled up the A64 to the county.
