Police were called after a man’s body was found in the street in Skipton.
A member of the public made the discovery on Craven Street in the town.
Ambulance crews called the police at 11.13am on Saturday (18 May) to ask for their help.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and they found a body of a man in his 70s.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death, but we don’t believe that there are any suspicious circumstances.”
