The extensive and beautiful Newby Hall and Gardens played host to the YorkMix Summer Tour on Friday with yet more mixed weather.
The summer tour set up outside the ice cream parlour, by the miniature railway and had great fun with visitors prepared for all weathers.
There was a spot of rain, but that didn’t stop us having a wonderful time on the train ride, boats, visiting the dolls house collection and more.
There is a bear house with some wonderful collectible bears on show, including the original Fozzie Bear and a lost Bear called Paddington, with a great story.
Some of are younger visitors to the summer tour were telling us tales from the adventure playground, which is fabulous and includes pedalo rides around the lake.
