Multiple fire crews went to a blaze at a brewery in Tadcaster today (Thursday).
Ten fire engines and the aerial ladder platform were originally tackling the incident at the Tower Brewery on Wetherby Road.
Smoke was seen pouring from one of the buildings on the site.

Crews were first called to the fire, in a disused building, at 8.55am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We have a number of crews and an aerial ladder platform in attendance.
“Crews remain at the scene and are working to extinguish the fire which is in the roof. They are likely to be at the scene for some time.
“We’re asking people to avoid the area and for those nearby to keep their windows and doors shut.”
Police and ambulance crews also went to the site. There are no reports of any injuries.
In an update at 4.20pm, the fire service said: “Crews remain at the scene. The incident has been scaled down from ten fire engines in attendance to eight.”
The Tadcaster Tower Brewery is owned by Molson Coors, and produces the company’s beer brands including Carling, Coors and Madri.
More than 100 people are employed there.

Stephen Moore, General Manager at Molson Coor’s Tadcaster Brewery said: “The safety of our people is our top priority and all employees are safe and accounted for.
“The emergency services continue to manage the situation on site.”
In October, Molson Coors said it was planning a significant investment in the site, including infrastructure upgrades.

That would “increase the brewery’s capacity to produce leading beers including Carling, Coors, Madri Excepcional and Worthington’s, using more advanced, energy-efficient equipment”, a spokesperson said.
