A motorcyclist is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in North Yorkshire last night (Tuesday).
It happened at about 5.45pm in Sherburn-in-Elmet, on Low Street at its junction with Bramley Park Avenue.

The car was travelling from South Milford toward Sherburn and the bike was going in the opposite direction.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
“The driver of the car, who was uninjured, has been interviewed by police and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has CCTV, doorbell footage, or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.”
The road was closed for several hours for crash investigations to take place.
