A man has been arrested after a crash which left a biker seriously injured.
It happened on West Lane, between Stillington and Easingwold at around 9.20pm last night (Friday).
A silver Audi A5, travelling from the direction of Stillington to Easingwold, collided with a white KTM motorcycle going in the opposite direction.

The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 40s, was seriously injured and airlifted to hospital.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was uninjured. He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing injury through dangerous driving.
The road was closed overnight to allow forensic examiners to gather evidence.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’ve launched an investigation and would like to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to the crash or anyone who witnessed the incident.”
