Best-selling country act to play York next year
The UK’s best-selling country act hits York next year.
The Shires released their new single New Year last month. Alongside the release came an announcement of a long 26 date tour where they’ll returning to play at York Barbican in May 2020.
The duo last played the Barbican in 2018 when they toured their second album.

The UK country stars first made a mark in 2015, after their debut album Brave was the first country album to enter the UK top ten.
Their second album, My Universe, became the fastest-selling British country album of all time and grasped top three in the UK chart.
The latest album, Good Years, was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee; the homeland of country music alongside their other albums, is set to be released in March.
