The BBC have been filming in Selby.
Tony Gilpin, who runs Rooms For All in the town, told YorkMix Radio that the TV crew were shooting scenes outside his shop as well as using his back wall to represent a school yard.
The Drama is called The Boat, and is mainly being shot in Redcar.
However the crew have come to Selby for these scenes.
Tony says he’s been told filming ends in March, and you will be able to watch it in September next year.
He said you will have to look out for the shop: “…and you never know you may see Si, Richard and me gawping through the shop windows in the background!”
The Boat is about when two hard-up strangers stumble across a haul of cocaine on a shipwrecked boat, and they can’t believe their luck. It stars Daisy Haggard and Paterson Joseph and is made by Two Brothers Pictures.
