Talk about bags of Pride…

Leather and accessories specialist Zatchels has teamed up to support York Pride with this dazzling new collection of bags.

Launched in their Shambles shop, but sold nationally, the Pride Collection sees everything from keyrings to backpacks emblazoned with the iconic rainbow flag.

And a whopping 20% of all sales from the collection will be donated to York Pride.

The range runs from a £12 keyring to a £175 city backpack, big enough to take a laptop computer.

Brilliant backing

The keyrings say it all
Chair of York Pride Greg Stephenson said that it was brilliant to have the backing of Zatchels.

Greg said:

  • York Pride exists because of volunteers, sponsors, and fundraising initiatives, so this money will really benefit the event.

Whilst there are numerous ways the money will be used, one of our current priorities is to enhance the audio-visual during the parade, given its mammoth growth over the past few years, and extra funding for this will be really helpful.

Some of the rainbow range
As with most Zatchels bags you can personalise the collection with your name, initials, or a short message.

Dean Clarke and Brian Brady are directors of Zatchels. They said:

  • We’ve had a great deal of fun producing the bags displaying the iconic colours of Pride.

As a UK business and employer we feel it’s important to promote equality in all its forms and we believe these designs are a celebration of just that.

This year’s York Pride parade takes place on Saturday, 8 June, with headliner Gareth Gates. Full details on the website.
