This mother duck and her ducklings have taken to the waters in the Exhibition Square fountain.
We counted at least eight ducklings alongside the mother mallard yesterday (Wednesday).
Some of the clearly recently hatched youngsters looked a little nervous about taking a dip in front of York Art Gallery
But, to the delight of onlookers taking a break in the square yesterday, they ended up jumping in. And they took to it like – well, a duck to water!
