Arrest made after a man was attacked in York
One man has been arrested and then released under investigation after another man was attacked in the street in York
Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the serious assault that happened on Bridge Street and High Ousegate between 2.30am and 4.30am on Sunday 10 October 2021
The victim suffered injuries to his right ear and head and was taken by ambulance to York Hospital for treatment.
Police said: “We would like your assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, and are particularly appealing for witnesses to the assault or anyone who may have captured the incident on mobile phone or CCTV.
