Detectives in York are appealing for witnesses and information after a break-in at a bank in Acomb.
Officers believe that sometime between 10pm and midnight on Sunday 9 December 2012, Barclays Bank, on Front Street, was broken into through the roof and an attempt was made to access the cash machine from the inside.
Nothing was taken in the incident.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident, or has any other information that can help with their enquiries, to get in touch.
Anyone who can help the investigation is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for Detective Constable Leah Wallhead, or York CID.
