A second area of York city centre is being dug up this evening (Monday) by Yorkshire Water.
High Ousegate is closed to traffic as engineers investigate another suspected burst water main.
It comes after engineers dug up Kings Square today, following a pipe burst last night that flooded a basement.
The High Ousegate works is in the centre of the road close to the Byron burger restaurant.
It looks set to be in place for some time.
