A York village road is closed to carry out works on a burst water main.
Station Road, in Haxby, is currently closed in both directions for repair work. The water main burst on Monday (5 May) and flooded the ground floor of a house.
The road will remain closed until Friday 9 May as work gets underway. A partial footway closure by Haxby Hall is also required.
A City of York Council spokesperson said: “Yorkshire Water are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”
The news follows a series of several water mains bursts that have affected the city in recent weeks.
