These may be the cutest sweet treats you can find in York.
Anime Gallery on Feasegate is proving to be a haven for anime lovers – and its Studio Ghibli-inspired cafe is a destination stop for any fans of the beloved film studio.
The anime shop opened at the start of this year, and now the cafe is officially open for bubble tea and a selection of cookies, cakes and pastry delights.

The Totoro Bubble Tea House serves up a huge selection of fruit and milk teas – with flavours such as Caramel, Matcha, Taro, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Peach Lychee, and Coconut.
Jellies and popping boba can also be added in for even more deliciousness, so go crazy to create your own unique drink.
Sweet treats like cookies in the shape of Studio Ghibli characters and cakes and pastries topped with adorable edible animals and flowers are also on offer – and they’re almost too cute to eat.

There are plenty of seats in the cafe to sit back and relax, and the stunning decorations will only encourage you to stay.
The cafe features giant figurines of popular Ghibli characters – including Kiki and Gigi from Kiki’s Delivery Service, Totoro and Mei from My Neighbour Totoro, and No Face from Spirited Away.
Beautiful Ghibli-inspired murals adorn the walls too, with a variety of licensed Ghibli merch available to buy too.
Anime Gallery features a shop downstairs and Studio Ghibli-themed cafe upstairs, with figurines, plushies, clothing, bags, memorabilia, and more from a variety of anime like One Piece, Haikyuu!!, Tokyo Ghoul, Spirited Away and Kiki’s Delivery Service.
The shop is the brainchild of Maggie Yang, who also has similar locations in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Anime Gallery is Maggie’s first shop in England.
Anime Gallery is open from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm. Stay updated at their Facebook page.
