Angry villager takes revenge on litterbug – by posting the rubbish back to him!
A villager infuriated by a litterbug who dumped his rubbish on the street has taken his revenge.
The man, who we’re calling Max to protect him from reprisals, was angry to see a massive bag of takeaway litter strewn on a street in his village of Kelfield, near Selby.
But when he went to clear it away, he found a delivery slip in the bage with the name and address of the man who ordered the food.
So Max decided to return the lot to him.
He squashed the greasy paper bags and cups into a big envelope and posted them back to the litterbug’s home in Scunthorpe.
The package will need signing for too – so he will have to go to the post office to pick it up and pay for the excess postage too.
Max told YorkMix: “I was really annoyed to see that someone had thrown a large bag of takeaway litter out of their car in our lovely village.
“I was about to pick it up and put it in the nearby litter bin, but noticed the delivery receipt for the takeaway poking out of the bag which had the name and address of the person who ordered it on it.
“So thought it only fair to post their property back to them! I’m sure they’ll appreciate the gesture.”
