A serious crash partially blocked the A19 north of Thirsk this morning (Thursday).

Drivers reported traffic at a standstill due to the collision, which was at North Kilvington between the junctions with the A61 and the A684.

There were queues both ways from the A61 to Moor Rise. The road has now been cleared.
