Emergency services were called to a crash on a crossroads north of York today (Saturday).
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was also called to the scene.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said shortly after 3pm: “We’re currently at the scene of a collision at the Thorpe Underwood crossroads on the B6265.
“Fire and ambulance and air ambulance services are also in attendance.
“The road has been closed between the new road junction and Whixley, to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.”
