One man had to be cut free after a three-vehicle crash closed the A59 near York.
Fire crews from York, Acomb and Tadcaster were called out to the incident at the junction with Hessay at 3.36pm today (Saturday).
They used hydraulic cutting equipment to free a man trapped in one of the vehicles.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “No obvious injuries to the male, but he was left in hands of ambulance personnel for checks.”
Two other people suffered minor injuries. The road was closed in both directions after the collision.
