A man who verbally abused villagers then drove his van at them is being sought by police.
It has happened several times in Appleton Roebuck – and officers are asking for the public’s help to track the driver down.
In each case, the suspect is described as a man who verbally confronted the victim before driving his Transit van at them.

The incidents took place on these dates and times:
- Wednesday 5 March at about 5.30pm
- Sunday 9 March at about 6.30pm and 7.30pm
The suspect is described as aged in his mid to late 30s, of broad build and unshaven. He was wearing a beige beanie with the sides folded up.
The man was driving a Ford Transit Connect, with a registration plate believed to be similar to YR52 AYP.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are particularly interested in any information that could help identify the suspect or any CCTV footage from the area that may assist our investigation.”
