A lorry careered off the A1M in North Yorkshire this morning (Tuesday).
The HGV ended up stuck on the embankment.
It happened close to junction 47, the Allerton Park Interchange, on the northbound carriageway at around 8.45am.

It doesn’t appear that anyone was hurt in the collision.
Work to recover the vehicle took place this evening (Tuesday, 2 May), meaning a stretch of the road was closed for a while.
But the A1M is now fully reopened.
National Highways Yorkshire said on Twitter: “The HGV involved in the earlier collision on the A1M has now been recovered from the scene. Traffic officers and contractors have removed the debris and reopened all of the lanes.”
