A new Burger King is opening in York, the fast food giant said today (Wednesday).
The outlet is opening on Monks Cross Drive in Huntington.
It will create 30 jobs. Applications are now open for positions including a restaurant manager, senior assistant manager, two assistant managers and shift manager.
Salaries range from £32K for the restaurant manager to £10.50 per hour for a shift manager.
You can view the job details and apply for them here.
Another 25 restaurant crew members will be needed, spanning both front of house and kitchen roles. Applications for these will open at a later date.
Burger King says staff enjoy a variety of perks, from flexible hours and free meals at work, to 50% off food and drink for friends and family.
People director of Burger King UK Jeremy Wright said: “During what has been a very challenging few years for many businesses, we are delighted to be creating new job and career opportunities in the area, and look forward to welcoming 30 new starters into the Burger King family, at our new York restaurant.
“We continue to be bold and ambitious in our growth plans across both locations and job opportunities.”
Burger King reopened a restaurant at Clifton Moor in September, more than a year after the previous outlet was gutted by fire.
