A bonanza of creativity is coming back to York – with three days of live music, exhibitions and workshops.
The family friendly Drawsome! festival aims to bring people together and celebrate emerging local talent, as well as showcase established national and international artists.
Drawsome! will take place from Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June.
Young Thugs, The Crescent and the Artsbarge will host a series of live music performances across the festival from artists including Dana Gavanski, Bonneville, ICHIGO EVIL, Captain Starlet, Leafcutter John, and Plantfood.
Richard Corrigan, founder of Drawsome and director of Young Thugs and Dogeatcog, said, “I’m really excited about this year’s line up, especially seeing ICHI return, this time with a band in the form of ICHIGO EVIL, they are not to be missed.
“Having local legend Bonneville back to perform at the Crescent fresh off the back of her incredible new album ‘New Lady’ is also going to be really special.”
Alongside the live music line up, the festival will feature an array of exhibitions and workshops for the whole family. Attendees can expect art from Rowan Jackson, Bits n Bots recycled robot making with Tom Brader and Mask Making with Wintercroft design – and much more!
Drawsome! is in aid of Bowel Cancer UK. This year it will also support St Nicks and Palestine Aid.
