In our second week of lockdown, all over the city, children are sending a message of hope.
From Huntington to the Groves, Scarcroft Road to Heworth, rainbows have been appearing in the windows of houses.
Below are some of the ones spotted by ourselves, and sent in by our readers.
If you see any more, please send them to us via our social channels and we will look to add them.
Nikki Massey took these photos around Moss Street.
She told us:
All the children have drawn pictures and put them in the windows to cheer people up!
Community spirit is strong on this street, a flyer has gone to every home to offer help if you’re isolating, and there are times when we all come out and have a cuppa on our steps.
We’re even planning a street party when all this awful mess is over!
