Anime enthusiasts get ready – as York is getting its very first anime convention.
Described as a ‘celebration of anime’, the festival will feature a lineup of artists and dealers, cosplayers galore, panels, and a range of exciting activities to be announced.
The Great York Anime Festival will take place at York Railway Institute on Saturday 21 December 2024.
The day will be an ‘epic’ celebration of Japanese animation and pop culture.
If you like anime, manga, cosplay, or gaming – this is the event for you. It’s also fun for all the family, with activities that will cater to children of all ages.
Exhibitors and activities for the festival are yet to be announced, but the event space will feature an artist alley, dealer hall, photo opportunities, manga library, gaming section, and a main stage.
Though it’s a few months away yet, tickets for the festival are already on sale!
