A man was suffered serious injuries after his motorcycle crashed on a cycle path in York.
The incident occurred on a cycle way between Fifth Avenue and Constantine Avenue, near Melrosegate, at about 4pm on Friday (July 8).
The rider, a 35-year-old local man, suffered serious leg injuries and is being treated at Leeds General Infirmary. His condition is described as serious but stable.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the rider or the motorcycle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
