Flash floods and dodgy drains combined to put York properties underwater again.
Crews from North Yorkshire fire brigade were called out to one flooded property on Bramley Garth on Friday night (June 12).
And there were reports elsewhere of roads, gardens and sheds becoming inundated with water.
Dismayed York residents posted photographs of the mess caused by just a 15-minute downpour in different parts of the city.
Catherine Norman took these pictures of flooding on Melrosegate at the junction with Burlington Avenue, and posted them on the York Floods 2015 Help for the affected Facebook page.
She said the same street had been inundated by the Boxing Day floods, but this time it had happened “because the drains are completely blocked.

On the same page Amanda Butler put photos of her garden with water rushing in through the fence.
It left her lawn underwater and her shed inundated.
While Lee Kirkby added his own photograph of the floodwaters on his street.
Other residents said that the water had infected cuts and grazes.
There was flooding on the Bell Farm estate off Huntington Road and Emma Shaw said: “My little girl walked in that water and now sat in hospital with an infection because the water got in her cut.”
‘Appreciate the concern’
Cllr Andrew Waller, City of York Council’s executive member for the environment, went out to see the affected areas for himself on Saturday (June 11).
He posted:
I’m visiting some residents this morning to get some details in Bad Bargain Lane, Etty Avenue and Huntington Road. Some of the areas which have been listed are under investigation with Yorkshire Water and the Inland Drainage Boards, and I will be checking where these have got to.
He was also due to meet with the council’s floods officer, and posted the picture below of council workers “cleaning out gulleys in the areas affected”.
Problem locations are “being recorded for review with other partners”.
