York-based photographer Marc McGarraghy of Yellow Mustang Photography is holding his first public exhibition at café-bar Fossgate Social.
Local & Live showcases outstanding images of York and Yorkshire-based musicians, venues and festivals, capturing the passion and energy of local talent during their live performances to local audiences.
You may even spot yourself in the audience!
The launch night saw York musicians Boss Caine, Toby Burras (Unfinished Drawings) Lee Parry (Finch And The Moon), Marck Whiley (The Rodeo Falls) and Two Reasons Why perform to a venue bedecked with vibrant musical imagery.

He’s developed a growing reputation not just for the quality of his work, but for his tireless support of the local music scene.
Using his work to champion local talent, causes and events, Marc only picked up a camera in earnest three years ago, but has quickly become recognised for his stunning and evocative images.
