A military parade will take place in York today (Saturday, 14 June) to mark the official birthday of the King.
It will involve the British Army band from Catterick and about 60 Cadets.
The parade will leave Duncombe Place at 10.35am, then move onto Blake Street, Davygate, Parliament Street, High Ousegate, Spurriergate, Coney Street and St Helen’s Square.
These roads will be closed temporarily.
The band will be in St Helen’s Square for a while before moving to Museum Gardens where a 21 gun salute will take place at midday.
