A gang attacked a young teenager in York last week – and now police are appealing for a key witness to come forward.
It happened last Tuesday (29 April) between 4.30pm and 5pm on Chesney Fields park off Foxwood Lane.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The incident involved three young teenagers punching and kicking another young teenager. The three teenagers have been identified.

“There was a man that interrupted and stopped the assault, and we are particularly appealing for this man to get in touch with police.”
